Throughout history we have witnesses the Masters of spiritual heights has always headed to the Himalayas to achieve what they wanted. Himalaya; they found the best place for meditation and Yoga. Thus became the home of Lord Shiva, Guru Padmasambhava, Milarepa and thousands of other Yogis. This tour takes you to the Indian Himalayan region of Ladakh. This tour starts with an introduction to Indian Yoga and Meditation followed by Tibetan Meditation and Yoga, Buddhism, Tantrism, a deep look into the people and its culture of this remote region. The tour has all the essence of a normal travel tour journey to this place; supplemented with a learning of Yoga and Meditation on parallel line on a leisurely manner. It involves village walks, participation in local culture and a bit of adventure. Lama Nawang Namgyal is a Tibetan Yogi born and brought up in this place and a certified Indian Yoga master with deep knowledge of Buddhism; its philosophy and practices as he himself remains a monk. He has been a monk since a very tender age and learnt from Many Masters, Yogis and Rinpoches. He accomplished the Mahamudra three years solitary meditation at a young age.

 
DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
     
Day 01: Fly from Home to New Delhi, India; the land of the Yogis and mystics. Upon arrival met by representative and transfer to World Buddhist Center, Japanese temple Guest House or the Korean Temple Guest House. Day rest, if your flights are very early then we proceed to a city tour of Delhi late in the afternoon which will include the RajGhat-memorial of Gandhi, The India Gate-II World War memorial, Humayun’s tomb and pass through the Parliament house and presidents house. Overnight at the guest house. Yoga and Meditation Tours
     
Day 02: Delhi: Today we shall meet the Teacher, Swami Vidyananda and have a meditation session with him at his center. Know about the Transformational Yoga. Overnight hotel in Delhi.
     
Day 03: Delhi-Leh: A very early morning check-out from the Guest House to board the flight to Leh which leaves around 5:10 am. A wonderful flight of 01 hrs and 15 minutes is equal to a “sightseeing by flight” once it reaches the Himalayan belt, passing through the Zanskar and Ladakh Himalayan ranges of mountains, visible massifs and glaciers and mighty peaks eye to eye emerging from the cloud bed leaves one breathless. Once you are out of the airplane your whole body will feel a difference, Leh airport itself at 11500 fts above sea level and the rarified air makes you feel as if you are breathing for the first time in Life. Met by representative and transfer to hotel. Day complete rest to acclimatize to the high altitude and avoiide mountain sickness. Assamble for lunch at the dinning hall. A short briefing of the area and the tour. Overnight at the hotel.
     
Day 4 Leh: Acclimatization and introductory tour: A very early morning before the sunrise, we leave by car to meet with the morning prayer ceremony at the Thiksey monastery which is performed by an assembly of monks. After the witness, we shall have breakfast at the monastery restaurant and proceed to Hemis, and Gotsang meditation center which is hidden deep into the mountains. Walking is involved to reach the meditation caves. Spend time there have tea with the monks and have your packed lunch here. Drive back to Leh, enroute visit the Shey Palace. Overnight hotel at Leh.
Yoga and Meditation Tours
     
Day 5: Leh-Sakti: Drive from Leh to Sakti, we spend whole day in village, visit houses, see the farming system, the ancient water mill and lastly Takthok monastery. After the visit we go to the make-shift camp our home for many days. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
     
Day 6: Sakti: Morning Meditation and Yoga session. Buffet lunch at the camp dinning hall. After lunch we visit the Chemrey monastery, walk in the village, meet people. Evening dinner with Tashi Rabgyas the Buddhist Scholar and introduction and knowledge of Tantric Buddhism, The practice of Mahamudra etc. Overnight at the camp.
     
Day 7: Sakti: Morning Meditation and Yoga session. After lunch walk to Sakti phu. Evening Yoga session with master. Overnight at the camp.
     
Day 8: Sakti: Morning Meditation and Yoga session. After lunch, we join a cultural event at the village, perhaps a archery, a cultural dance by local artist. Evening return to camp for Yoga session.
     
Day 9: Sakti-Pangong Lake (Changthang) Excursion: A short Meditation and Yoga session. Morning after breakfast we will be picked-up by car, drive over the high pass of Changla (5486 Mtrs.). Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the Changla pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to thee western shore of the Lake. Enjoy the landscape on the backdrop of the lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “ INDO CHIANA BORDER”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Drive back to camp. Overnight at the camp.
     
Day 10: Sakti-Leh: Morning Meditation and Yoga session. Our last lunch at this beautiful camp. After lunch drive to Leh, enroute visit Stok Palace and Matho village. Overnight hotel in Leh.
     
Day 11: Leh: Day free at Leh. Overnight hotel at Leh.
     
Day 12: Leh-Alchi: Drive from Leh to Alchi enroute visit the Liker village and monastery. Alchi monastery dates back to 1000 years one of the few monastery which is not perched at an hill top. Lunch at the resort or hotel in Alchi. After lunch drive to visit Rizong monastery and Chulichan nunnery. Evening free. Overnight resort or hotel in Alchi.
     
Day 13: Alchi: Morning a brief, Chanting and meditation session and proceed for a full day excursion to Lamayuru and Basgo villages. Lamayuru is the only bon monastery in Ladakh and Basgo is historically important for its fort now a ruin. Overnight hotel or resort at Alchi.
     
Day 14: Alchi-Mangyu-Leh: Morning after a brief Chanting and Meditation session, we proceed to Mangyu, walk of 01 hrs or more is involved to the village. Mangyu village is one of the most beautiful village and houses the shrine dates back to 1000 years. Spend some time with the villages here and drive back to Leh. Overnight hotel at Leh.
     
Day 15: Leh-Nubra: Drive from Leh to Nubra valley over the high pass of Khardung la pass. (18318 ft). On arrival check in camp. Afternoon visit the Samstanling monastery. Evening free at the village. Overninght at the camp.
     
Day 16: Nubra: Morning Meditation and Yoga ending with a Chanting session. Afternoon proceed to visit the Hunder and Deskit villages and monastery. Overnight at the camp. Yoga and Meditation Tours
   
Day 17: Nubra: Morning Meditation and Yoga ending with a Chanting session. Afternoon drive to Panamik visit the hot spring which has medicinal properties to cure certain skin and other diseases etc .Enjoy hot bath at the natural spring. Overnight at the camp.
     
Day 18: Nubra: Morning Meditation and Yoga ending with a Chanting session. Afternoon enjoy a camel ride on the double hump Bactrian camel. Sun bath and Yoga at the sand dunes and return to camp. Overnight at the camp.
     
Day 19: Nubra-Leh: Drive from Nubra to Leh. Day free to explore the Leh town and its small market, look for souvenirs. Evening visit the Leh palace and Shanti Stupa at Sunset. Evening a Ladakhi dinner at the hotel or a restaurant in the town. Overnight hotel at Leh.
     
Day 20: Leh-Delhi: Fly from Leh to Delhi. On arrival met by representative and transfer to hotel. Day free. Overnight hotel in Delhi. Yoga and Meditation Tours
   
Day 21: Delhi-Home. On time departure transfer to airport. Fly Delhi-Home.
