DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
     
Day 01: Arrival at Delhi : On arrival met by representative at the airport and transfer to hotel The Imperial at the city center.  Today’ sightseeing tour depend upon your time of arrival in Delhi. Usually most of the international flights arrives in mid night. Morning at leisure, afternoon Proceed for half day sight seeing of Delhi.

OLD DELHI: A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire.

Enjoy a Cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk. Overnight at Hotel The Imperial at city center.
   
Day 02: Delhi - 250 km - Mandawa
After breakfast a six hour drive through the beautiful countryside will land you into Mandawa Town in Shekhawati Region. Explore the open art gallery, which aptly describes Mandawa in Rajasthan. Mandawa is dotted with beautiful havelis, mansions and forts. This wealth of ancient architectural heritage is what that has made it a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan. Look for one of the most erotic images at 'The Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli'. Towards evening enjoy a cultural performance at the hotel lawns. Dinner and overnight in the Castle Mandawa - a heritage palace hotel.
     
Day 03: Mandawa - 190 km - Bikaner
On the third day of the "Heritage tour with Heritage Hospitality" our focus shifts from Mandawa to Bikaner. After breakfast you will be driven to Bikaner. Midway through our drive you will be taken to the frescoed grand Patrician (Haveli or Mansions) of Mandawa. Explore the beauty of the region, an exotic visual treat. Afternoon arrival in the city, enables you to embark on a sightseeing tour of Junagarh Fort, the most imposing forts of North India. The mirrors, paintings and carved marble panels in the Moon Palace are a treat for the eyes. Also explore the extensive collection of illuminated manuscripts, jewelery, arms and weapons, treaties and the 'Farmans' at the Fort Museum. Overnight at Hotel Bhanwar Niwas - a Heritage Hotel.
     
Day 04: Bikaner - 153 km - Khimsar
The fifth morning of your tour is kept for leisure. Spend some time by the hotel poolside or relax in the confines of your hotel rooms. Later in the day we set on a five-hour journey to Khimsar. We stop over at Deshnok, a small village. Visit Mata Karni's temple. Before the temple is a beautiful marble facade with solid silver doors. Across the doorway are more silver doors with panels depicting the various legends of the Goddess. By evening we are into Khimsar, located in the Thar Desert in the heart of rural India. Enjoy the beauty of a desert sunset over a cup of tea. Dinner and Overnight at Khimsar Fort (A Grand Heritage Hotel of Welcome Heritage Group).
     
Day 05: Khimsar - 90 km - Jodhpur - 50 km - Rohet
After breakfast you will be picked up from the Hotel and driven to Rohet Village. On the way we stop over at Jodhpur. Explore the Mehrangarh Fort Museum which exhibits the heritage of the Rathores, including arms, costumes, paintings, decorated period rooms, etc. While in Jodhpur, do not forget to try the famous Kachori (a s stuffed with lentils eaten with chutney). Also try out the sweet hospitality of Jodhpur, known as Mithi Manuhar. Also don't forget to buy the famous Jodhpuri embroidery shoes as it will give a royal identity to your dressing. Our drive to Rohet continues. Upon arrival your stay is planned at Rohet Garh (a heritage hotel). Dinner and overnight at Rohet Garh (A Heritage Hotel).
     
Day 06: Rohet
After the breakfast awaits a tour of Bisnoi's Desert Villages. Enjoy the well known village safari as it will introduce you to the local cultures and traditions. Besides being home to three species of antelope the Chinkara, the blue bull and the black-buck-Rohet is also a haven for bird watchers with up to two hundred domestic and migratory species. Later meet the local people and feel the famed warmth of courteous Rajput hospitality. Also participate in the local cultural performances towards the evening. Dinner and overnight at Rohet Garh (A Heritage Hotel).
 

 

Day 07: Rohet - 135 km - Ranakpur - 90 km - Udaipur
On the seventh morning we pack off to Udaipur, the city of lakes. We reach Ranakpur after passing lush green valleys and streams and the heart capturing views that drive away any fatigue of the journey.
Explore the Ranakpur Jain Temple, where you will find the artistically carved nymphs playing the flute in various dance postures at a height of 45 feet. Also look for the two big bells in the Assembly hall, each of them weighing 108 kgs. Our drive to Udaipur continues. Reaching there by evening slip into your hotel rooms and rest for the day. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel Udai Kothi (An Economic Class Hotel with beautiful Lake View).
   
Day 08: Udaipur (The Romantic City of Rajasthan)
The city of Dawn, Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure water lakes, hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravalis. After breakfast visit the Jagdish Temple, a tribute to the tenacity of its builders and the resilience of the art. Later visit the City Palace Museum housed with old sculptures and inscriptions. Look for the antique paintings of Mewar and the turban of prince Khurram later on called Shahjahan. In the evening hang around the exquisite Lake Palace of Udaipur, shimmering like jewel on Lake Pichhola, an overwhelming sight to watch. Also take a boat ride around the Lake Palace. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel Udai Kothi.
   
Day 09: Udaipur - 140 km - Deogarh
The ninth day of your heritage India tour begins with a 140 km. drive to Deogarh. On the way we stop over at Nagda and visit the Vishnu Temple. Our drive to Deogarh continues. By noon we are into Deogarh. Check in at Deogarh Mahal and enjoy a lavish lunch buffet. Later explore the architectural beauty of the Deogarh Mahal. Don't miss out on the miniature paintings from Deogarh on the walls of the Deogarh Mahal. In the evening meet the locals and get a feel of the rural India. Have the pleasure of a royal dinner amidst some cultural performances from the local folk. Overnight at Deogarh Mahal.
   
Day 10: Deogarh - 280 km - Jaipur
In the morning we bid good bye to Deogarh and set on a five hour journey by road to the city of Jaipur. Experience the wonderful countryside on the way. Reach Jaipur by late afternoon. Check into Mundia House and relax for some time. In the evening hang around Statue Circle, a traffic round from where half the population of the city crosses daily. Also enjoy some traditional Rajasthani food from the street stalls, as the smell always feels so tempting. Dinner and Overnight at Mundia House.
   
Day 11: Jaipur City Sightseeing
We embark on an early morning sightseeing as a day full of exploration is ahead. Enjoying an elephant ride reach the Amber Fort situated atop a hill. You will be mesmerized by the forts interior artistry embellished with excellent paintings and intricate carvings. Our next destination for the day is the sprawling area of City Palace which houses a number of museums inside. See those two large silver vessels with special attention which are largest in the world. Next, we take you to Hawa Mahal. Adorned with thousand windows, this pink stone palace provides you the pleasure of taking a royal view of the city the same way as the Royal ladies used to. Dinner and Overnight at Mundia House.
   
Day 12: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour
The twelfth morning of the tour is kept for your personal activities. Relax in the confines of your Hotel rooms. Post lunch we once again explore the city of Jaipur. We take you to Jantar Mantar, where you can look for the various instruments such as the Kranti Yantra, Jaiprakash Yantra and many more. Later in the evening, explore the lively markets of Jaipur and we bet even if you are not very fond of jewellery, you will be so after visiting the shops dazzling with Kundan Gehna. Dinner at Choki Dhani amidst performances from the local cultural folk. Overnight at Mundia House.
   
Day 13: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (240 km)
This day we will take you into the city of Agra which showcases the glorious heritage of the Mughals. On the way stop-over at Fatehpur Sikri. As you stroll through the place explore the finest treasures of the Mughal artistry and royalty. As you take a walk inside the barren palaces and halls, the great majesty and excellence of the Mughals slowly unfolds in front of you. Continue your drive to Agra. As you arrive in the city check into a hotel. After light snacks leave for Taj Mahal and enjoy the awesome beauty of the monument. In the evening as the sun completes its journey for the day and moon comes to heal the world, Taj becomes a mystery in itself. You may even forget to breathe or blink wondering it to be real or some illusion. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Trident-Hilton.
   
Day 14: Agra - Sikandra - Delhi (200 km)
After breakfast visit the Red Fort, and get lost in the majestic glory of Mughal heritage. Also visit the Moti Masjid and the Diwan-i-Aam. Here if you check carefully you can find the dimples on the walls that were embellished with precious stones, which could not survive in the ravages of time. Touch them and you will have a spine chilling experience. Do spend some time in the market area and shop for some of the antique pieces from the wide range of marble souvenirs including boxes, lamps and other decorative items with exquisite decoration. Later in the day you will be driven to the capital city of India. Dinner and Overnight in the Imperial hotel.
