Desert of Rajasthan Tour

Tour Character: Chauffeur driven private car, 01 inter-state flight, Professional local English Speaking or multilingual guide at sightseeing places. Option of accompanying tour escort throughout.
Places covered: Delhi - Jaipur –Bikaner- Jaisalmer- Agra
Duration: 08 Nights / 09 Days
Night Stays: Three –Four -Five star / deluxe, Heritage palaces hotels.
Tour type: History, Culture, Monuments, Heritage sites, people and religion.
Meals: All the breakfast at the designated hotel / Guest houses. Lunch on the way at deluxe tourist restaurants. Dinner can be had out or at the hotel itself.
Day By Day Itinerary
Day 01:

Arrive New Delhi from home. On arrival met by representative at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Overnight hotel at Delhi.

Day 02:

Delhi: Today city tour of Delhi, including sightseeing of Old and New Delhi monuments.

Overnightr hotel at Delhi.
   
Day 03: Drive from Delhi to Jaipur (05 hrs): Check in hotel. Afternoon visit to the Pink City,  Drive through the Johari Bazaar to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).
Visit the various museums inside the City Palace and the ancient observatory, Jantar Mantar.  Pay a visit to the Govind Deoji Temple, housing the patron deity of Jaipur.
Evening free for shopping, etc.

Overnight hotel in Jaipur.
     
Day 04: Jaipur-Bikaner: Depart after an early breakfast for Fatehpur and Shekhawati.
See the Cenotaphs, Stepwells, beautifully painted Havelis & Old Streets.
Proceed after lunch for Bikaner. Visit the Camel-breeding Farm just before Bikaner (open 3 — 5 pm). Check-in at hotel in Bikaner.

Overnight hotel in Bikaner.

 Rajasthan Desert Tour
     
Day 05: Bikarner-Jaisalmer: Visit  the fabulous Junagarh Fort & Lalgarh Palace in Bikaner. Proceed for Jaiselmer. Have lunch on the way (packed lunch from Bikaner advised). Visit Kheechan, with its hords of cranes, on the way. Reach Jaiselmer before sundown, to catch a glimpse of the setting sun on the Golden Fort. Overnight at hotel in Jaiselmer.
     
Day 06: Jaisalmer: Visit Jaiselmer Fort & Museum after breakfast. Also see the Jain Temple.Take a walk through the back streets to the Patwoh ki &lavell & Kothari Haveli.
After lunch proceed to Kulcihera - an abandoned habitation, and then to Sam Sand
Dunes. Take a Camel Ride and experience the haunting magic of the tale of Dhola Maru.

Day 07: Jaislamer-Jodhpur:  After early breakfast, leave for Jodhpur, the Sun City, via Pokhran. Have lunch at Pokaran.  See deer on the way in the Bishnoi villages, and reach Jodhpur by afternoon. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, one of the most awe-inspiring forts in Rajasthan.  Do not miss the view of Jodhpur’s blue houses & sunset from the top of the fort.
     
Day 08: Jodhpur-Delhi. Fly Jodhpur to Delhi. Overnight hotel in Delhi.
   
Day 09: Delhi-Home: On time departure transfer to the international airport. Fly Home.
